Updated August 7, 2026 By Santana Withrow | Community Involvement Final Flood Relief Supply Pickup Day at Jenkins Automotive Friday, August 7, marks the final day for flood relief supply pickup at Jenkins Automotive in Buckhannon. Over the past several weeks, our community has come together to support individuals and families impacted by the recent flooding. Thanks to the generosity of local residents, businesses, organizations, schools, and donors from surrounding counties, we have been able to collect and distribute cleaning supplies, outdoor cleanup items, household essentials, hygiene products, baby supplies, and other much-needed items. Final Pickup Hours Our final day for flood relief supply pickup will be Friday, August 7, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. These supplies are intended specifically for individuals and families impacted by the recent flooding. If you or someone you know is still in need of assistance, please stop by during our designated pickup hours. Our team will be available to help you find the supplies you need while quantities last. Pickup Location Jenkins Automotive 8 Billingsley Drive Buckhannon, WV Remaining Supplies Will Continue Helping Flood Victims After Friday's final pickup day, all remaining flood relief supplies will be donated to the Lewis County Donation Center in Weston. This will allow the remaining donations to continue reaching individuals and families affected by the flooding as cleanup and recovery efforts continue throughout the area. Thank You to Our Community We cannot thank everyone enough for the generosity shown throughout this relief effort. From individuals who dropped off a few supplies to families, businesses, organizations, and groups who collected and delivered entire loads of donations, every contribution helped make this effort possible. We are especially grateful to everyone who volunteered their time, helped organize supplies, transported donations, shared our posts, and helped connect those in need with available resources. Most importantly, all items collected through this drive have been intended to support individuals and families impacted by the recent flooding.
